Many things fail us in this old world of ours. Things that we think are impregnable sometimes fail in critical
moments. Sometimes friends, or at least those that we thought would never fail, prove untrue. Banks
fail, health fails, and we crumble to dust.

1. ITS VERY COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT THE LORD NEVER FAILS.

In Deuteronomy 31:8 we read: And the Lord, he is that doeth go before thee; he will never fail thee,
neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed it is easy to believe Jehovah, or the Lord God,
will not fail when we realize who Jehovah is.

2. THE HOLY SPIRIT NEVER FAILS.

The Holy Spirit is given to man to stay with him and in him. Each believer receives an appropriate
blessing from the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:3-11). The Holy Spirit never fails.

3. THE LORD’S COMPASSIONS NEVER FAIL.

Jeremiah, guided by the Holy Spirit, tells in Lamentations 3:21-23 “This I recall to my mind, therefore
have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions never fail.”

4. OUR TREASURE IN HEAVEN WILL NEVER FAIL.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and
gives alms; provide yourselves bags whick wax not old a treasure in the heavens that faileth not.
(Luke 12:32-34).

5. OUR FAITH NEVER FAILS WHEN WE ARE LINKED UP WITH JESUS.

Jesus prays to God that our faith will not fail. Luke 22:31-32. How could our faith fail when one
who has tried our walk, was crucified, dead, and buried and now is alive pleading with God to let the
Holy Spirit be our Guide and stay?

What Is Faith?

It is resting one’s intellectual and spiritual confidence in the historical realities of the life of Jesus Christ.
Faith cast itself upon the atoning death of the Savior to secure freedom from the grip of sin. And faith
looks to a risen Saviour as the daily source of guidance, comfort, and strength.

The Kids Have Ears

A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, She turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
“Would you like to say the blessing?”
“I wouldn’t know what to say,” the girl replied. “Just Say what you hear mommy say,” the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said. “Dear Lord why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?
Amen.”
